Notion Agent is a good place to start exploring what Notion AI can do. Beyond drafting or brainstorming, it can take on tasks from start to finish right inside Notion.
It can search across your workspace and connected tools, build databases, update pages, and analyze information. If you’re not sure where to start, ask your Agent how to use Notion or how it can help with your work. Because it works directly inside Notion, you can use AI alongside the work and context you already have in your workspace.
To get started with Notion Agent, click the circular face icon in the bottom-right corner of your workspace or open the Notion AI tab in the sidebar.
Try putting your Agent to work with a few tasks you already do:
Build a database to organize your work: Describe what you want to track, and your Agent can build the database for you. Try asking: “Build a project tracker with an owner, status, priority, deadline, and a way to flag work that’s at risk.”
Create a structured page: Ask your Agent, “Build an interview preparation page with research notes, key talking points about my experience, questions I want to ask, and space for follow-up actions.” Your Agent creates the page with the sections already laid out for you.
Search the web for external information: Ask your Agent to research a topic and organize what it finds in Notion. Try, “Research tips for engaging social media posts and create a database with hooks, structure, and call-to-action ideas.”
If the result isn’t quite right, give your Agent more context or tell it what to adjust.
Want to get more out of your Agent?
Connect tools like Google Drive, Slack, or Microsoft Teams so Notion Agent can search across the docs, conversations, and files your team already uses. That context can help it answer questions, create pages, and build databases based on work that lives outside Notion.
Go to Settings and select Notion AI to see the available workspace AI Connectors. Choose the tools you want to connect, approve permissions, and wait for the initial indexing to finish.

For example, with Google Drive connected, try, “Look at the campaign folders in my Google Drive and create a campaign tracker. Each row should link to its matching folder and include the campaign name, status, and launch date.” If Slack is connected too, Notion Agent can use recent campaign updates and feedback from your team to add more context to the tracker.

Use AI Meeting Notes to transcribe meetings, summarize the discussion, and capture action items directly in Notion. Notion Agent can then use those notes to answer questions, pull out follow-ups, or help you turn next steps into tasks.
Start with a routine meeting like a team standup or 1:1:
Type
/meetto add an AI Meeting Notes blockClick
Startto transcribe when your meeting begins and clickStopwhen it ends
When you have a call starting (like Zoom or Google Meet), Notion can automatically detect it and send you a notification to start transcribing, so you don't forget to record it. Go to Settings → Notifications and toggle on Meeting detection notifications.

Who can access my AI Meeting Notes transcription and summary?
Once you’ve recorded your first meeting, try a few ways to get more from AI Meeting Notes:
Choose a meeting format: Select the type of meeting so the summary and follow-ups better reflect the conversation.
Choose the format option for your meeting so Notion AI can organize your conversation more effectively.Add an agenda: Add topics or questions before the meeting. AI can use them as context when creating the summary.
Ask your Agent about past meetings: As you capture more meetings, your Agent can reference them to create recaps, prepare updates, or surface patterns across conversations.
You can ask Notion AI about previous meetings directly from your workspace. It provides clear answers and includes links to the original discussions.

Beyond Notion Agent, your Business plan includes other features you can use to build and manage workflows:
Forms with conditional logic: Create forms that change based on someone’s responses. Share them with your team, organization, or publicly.
Synced databases: Bring Jira, GitHub, or Asana data into Notion databases and keep it synced.
AI for databases: Use AI Autofill to summarize, tag, or categorize entries. You can also generate formulas by describing what you want the formula to do.
Use AI formulas when you know what you want to build—but need help writing, editing, or fixing it.Write and edit with AI: Use AI across your workspace to organize and improve content. Ask Notion Agent to turn notes into outlines, pull out action items, translate content, and more.
Set up security and workspace controls: Create private teamspaces, verify pages, export PDFs in bulk, and configure SSO or SAML.
Use your trial to put these features into practice with work you already do. Start with one workflow, bring in the tools and context it needs, and build from there as you get more comfortable with Notion AI.
